Everything you need before the celebrations — starting with the question we get most: what on earth do I wear?
We'll update this page as soon as the dress code is confirmed.
Turmeric stains permanently. Wear something bright, breathable, and completely expendable — a cotton kurta or a simple salwar set is perfect.
Modest and elegant: a sherwani or kurta for the gentlemen, a saree, anarkali or sharara for the ladies. Shoulders and knees covered, please.
Traditional Indian wear will be the safe bet — full guidance to follow.
Lehengas, bandhgalas, or a sharp suit — whichever you feel best dancing in. Adults only.
Deep red and full bridal gold — Isha's colors for the Vivah and Nikkah.
All-white or all-black at the Hindu ceremony. An accent of either is absolutely fine.
Four silhouettes that work at any of our events — from easiest to wear to most dramatic.
You do not need to own any of this. A well-cut kurta rents for less than a tie costs.
Take a photo or upload one, pick a look, and we'll place you in it. Everything happens on your own device — nothing is uploaded or saved anywhere.
Best results from a straight-on photo with your whole face and hair in frame, in decent light. Tag us when you post it — we want to see every one.
Drag your face on the picture to line it up.
No photo yet — the outfit is waiting.
Still stuck? The last answer here is the one you want.
Do I need to attend every event?
No — please RSVP only to the events you're able to join us for. Every one of them is meaningful to us, but we completely understand that not everyone can make them all.
Is the Austin Reception adults-only?
Yes — while we love your little ones, the Reception is an adults-only evening. We hope it's a welcome night off.
Can I bring a plus-one or additional guests?
Your invitation indicates exactly who's invited — please check your RSVP for the names included in your party.
Where can I buy or rent Indian outfits?
Local Houston and Austin shop recommendations coming soon — in the meantime, rental services ship nationwide and most will size you from a few measurements.
